Al’s Green Smoothie

2 cups tightly packed Costco Power Greens

1 cup frozen mango chunks

1 small mandarin orange

I cup water (or apple juice if you have a sweet tooth)

½ cup ice

3 or 4 dates

Combine all ingredients in VitaMix until smooth.

Caramel Apple Soft Serve Recipe

Ingredients:

1 apple, diced and frozen 

1 frozen banana 

2 to 3 medjool dates, pitted 

1 teaspoon alcohol-free vanilla extract or 1/4 teaspoon vanilla bean powder (optional) 

2 to 3 tablespoons water, if needed to blend

Place all the ingredients in a high-speed blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Add as little water as possible and scrape down the sides as needed. Serve immediately. Makes 1 serving.

Twyla’s Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Prep Time 10 minutes Cook Time 12 minutes Cooling Time 5 minutes Total Time 22 minutes

Ingredients

3/4 cup oat flour

1/4 cup rolled oats

1/4 cup pure maple syrup

1/4 cup almond butter

1/4 cup applesauce

1 tbsp ground flax seeds

1.5 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp baking soda

1/4 cup raisins

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350 F and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper

2. Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl until well combined.

3. Scoop the cookie dough and line them on a baking sheet, flattening them a bit. I got 8-9 cookies.

4. Bake for about 12 minutes.

5. Let cool for 5-10 minutes and enjoy!
